My last visit to Manado was from May 23 to June 23, 2023. The visit was only to build up my wife's burial place. During the one month staying there, I also used my spare moments to sketch and take photos of several beautiful tourist spots surrounding the homeland of my beloved late wife. I spent two days in Villa Emitta Hotel Tomohon. I spent almost all day praying, reading the Bible, and typing. Wherever I go, I always bring my Canon Camera to keep track of the best moments to shoot. The second day at this hotel was fantastic for me. When I opened the window and enjoyed an excellent view outside the hotel, I was suddenly amazed at the majestic and beautiful Lokon volcano. The morning sun's reflection makes this mountain so brilliant and exciting to shoot with the camera. What a marvelous view of Mount Lokon is. Sometimes, this mountain is covered in clouds all day. But this time, it was very bright. I took my camera and captured it directly from the window. This lovely active volcano can be seen between the pine tree's branches, and I consider it the best composition and perspective for capturing that excellent subject. This moment must be utilized immediately because this beautiful view will disappear. After all, clouds will cover it again more quickly.

Kunjungan terakhir saya ke Manado pada tanggal 23 Mei sampai 23 Juni 2023. Kunjungan tersebut hanya untuk membangun makam istri saya. Selama satu bulan berada di sana, saya pun memanfaatkan waktu luang saya untuk membuat sketsa dan memotret beberapa tempat wisata indah di sekitar tanah air mendiang istri tercinta. Saya menghabiskan dua hari di Villa Emitta Hotel Tomohon. Saya menghabiskan hampir sepanjang hari berdoa, membaca Alkitab, dan mengetik. Ke mana pun saya pergi, saya selalu membawa Kamera Canon untuk melacak momen terbaik untuk memotret. Hari kedua di hotel ini sangat fantastis bagi saya. Ketika saya membuka jendela dan menikmati pemandangan indah di luar hotel, saya tiba-tiba terkesima dengan gunung berapi Lokon yang megah dan indah. Pantulan sinar matahari pagi menjadikan gunung ini begitu cemerlang dan mengasyikkan untuk dipotret dengan kamera. Sungguh menakjubkan pemandangan Gunung Lokon. Terkadang, gunung ini tertutup awan sepanjang hari. Tapi kali ini sangat cerah. Saya mengambil kamera saya dan memotretnya langsung dari jendela. Gunung berapi aktif yang indah ini dapat dilihat di antara cabang-cabang pohon pinus, dan menurut saya ini adalah komposisi dan perspektif terbaik untuk menangkap subjek yang luar biasa itu. Momen ini harus segera dimanfaatkan karena pemandangan indah tersebut akan hilang. Bagaimanapun, awan akan menutupinya kembali dengan lebih cepat.

Jason, the interim phase of this beautiful painting is MAGNIFICENT. Thank you for uploading it in this stage. While i am sure the final painting will be equally amazing, there is something very special, very spiritual about this …pause…while you are thinking about your beloved. There is no doubt in my mind she is with you in this moment. I am so sorry for your deep loss.

Hello, Laurel. Thank you so much for such an encouraging comment on this new favorite piece of mine. This is the final detailing work. It was not changeable; I only added a white car in front of the house, adding a few colors on the trees and my signature. Yes, my wife is always in my heart. Happy Painting!
