Yes, of course, this is an unusual kind of umbrella. This is only used in tropical rainforest countries. Our native people still use it. Walking in the jungle during heavy rains is not possible using modern round umbrellas over our heads, The only effective and easy way is to use an umbrella made of pandanus leaves like this one.
