Description
If you visit Israel some days, your visitation will not be completed if you have not visited Bahai Gardens. This beautiful park is situated on Mount Carmel, 400 meters above sea level, and is one of the most popular sites in the Middle East. Bahaullah founded Bahai, who is also the founder of the Baha'i religion in the early 19th century. Originally, Bahai was a unique hanging garden design, combining regular geometric forms in such beautiful maintenance of the natural and historic landscape features. There are two Bahai Gardens in Haifa. The other one is located 16 kilometers further north, in Akko. Each year, the park is visited by more than 500 thousand visitors from all over the world. In July 2008, the Bahai Gardens in Haifa and Akko were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. It recognizes outstanding universal value as a sacred place and the place of Bahai pilgrimage believers.
I captured this picture on Feb 26, 2014, during our ten-day visit to Israel. I have been to Israel three times, and it is one of my favorite places to visit.
