Known also as an old Coptic Christian church with a long interesting history. Usually called Samaan El Kharaz by local people. We spent one hour of worship and prayer in this fantastic Church building on Feb 22, .2014 - We were on our way traveling to Holy Land, stopping by Cairo and staying there for three days, visiting some holy spots including this marvelous kind of church building.
