Its farms are mostly found around the town of Amuntai, the capital of the Hulu Sungai Utara district - South Kalimantan. Buffalo cages are built mainly by breeders on small lakes or marshes that are full of water, especially in the rainy season. Almost all pens form like an open stage, standing in the middle of the vast green field for miles. Such a landscape, with its natural charm, including the activities of farmers, ranchers, and lake swamp fishers, captivates the attention of anyone passing through this area for the first time—such a fantastic view I have never experienced in another region in Indonesia.
