My experience in sketching or drawing human objects is not the resemblance it achieves, but how reveals the character, while the resemblance is the umpteenth order for me. Sketching or drawing my own wife and mother, or close friends are different from sketching an official, police, or army. Because in reaching the closest people, a close relationship of taste or a familiar atmosphere has been established. Even, deep feelings of love and inner closeness are increasingly united while I draw or paint my own wife – which causes a flow of new inspiration about God and Man.
About Jason Sentuf
My name is Jason Sentuf. I am a Pastor of a Church in Indonesia, but painting is also my hobby. Thank God that he has given me such a talent since I was Child. I Never follow a formal Art Education or any painting course - because painting is my natural hobby. I am more inclined to paint landscapes, animals, and human bodies since primary school. I was influencing European Expressionism and Impressionism painting styles. I like Claude Monet's and Vincent Van Gogh's painting styles.
