One of the beautiful landscapes of my late wife's homeland...(She died on Oct. 9, 2022) just spent three weeks in loneliness there - visiting some beautiful spots while spending a few hours painting. This is one of the most beautiful landscapes I have captured and transferred on my canvas. It's called Mount Lokong and is an active volcano in the Minahasa district with the capital city of Tomohon which is just close to this mountain. Now, I am in Sorong, West Papua, for almost two weeks staying here after two days Church Conference on Nov.17-18, 2022. I'll return soon to Manado - the capital city of North Sulawesi (my late wife's homeland) and enjoy Christmas with her family.
My name is Jason Sentuf. I am a Pastor of a Church in Indonesia, but painting is also my hobby. Thank God that he has given me such a talent since I was Child. I Never follow a formal Art Education or any painting course - because painting is my natural hobby. I am more inclined to paint landscapes, animals, and human bodies since primary school. I was influencing European Expressionism and Impressionism painting styles. I like Claude Monet's and Vincent Van Gogh's painting styles.
