Artist's Description

Today, Egypt is often considered the home of bellydance. Egyptian Bellydance has two main styles - raqs baladi and raqs sharqi. Numerous folkloric and character dances may be part of an Egyptian-style belly dance repertoire and the modern shaabi street dance, which shares some elements with raqs baladi. Egyptian oriental dance typically has a 'contained' or 'internal' feeling compared to other styles and is usually relaxed, earthy, and grounded. Beauty is glory. And glory is the essence of the character. The beauty of a woman's body shows how great God works in human beings. This kind of dance has been going on since the days of the Old Testament of the Bible, not only in Egypt but throughout the Middle East, including Israel.

About Jason Sentuf

Jason Sentuf

My name is Jason Sentuf. I am a Pastor of a Church in Indonesia, but painting is also my hobby. Thank God that he has given me such a talent since I was Child. I was influencing European Expressionism and Impressionism painting styles. I like Claude Monet's and Vincent Van Gogh's painting styles. Whether by visiting museums or reading their history books, both greatest painters have increased my knowledge of how to paint professionally and add techniques and the ability to find all beauties around me and express this beauty on canvas or paper. After...
